Francis Engelmann

Biography

A writer, Francis Engelmann is the co-author, with illustrator Magda Korotynska, of the book “Luang Prabang, Trésors du patrimoine architectural du Laos”, devoted to the town’s traditional, colonial and Lao-French houses. At the France–Laos Festival he accompanies the exhibition “Old Houses of Luang Prabang”, presents the book and its watercolours at an evening with Magda Korotynska, and leads a walking tour through the streets of Luang Prabang.
