Tataki Zome: flowers and leaves printed on fabric
10 November 2026 → 14 November 2026
- Institut français du Laos — Vientiane
- 1pm – 5pm
- Free entry

About
Garden flowers, leaves and petals are laid on fabric and struck with a hammer, leaving behind their colours and shapes. Lydia Ebdon-Borde, an artist specialising in printmaking, introduces tataki zome, a Japanese plant printing technique: a way of making images indirectly from natural materials and handmade gestures. Everyone takes home their own printed fabric. Open to all ages.
