What if Brel were a woman?

A Franco-German singer, artistic director and producer, Iris Munos has led the project “Et si Brel était une femme ?” since 2016: a new take on the themes Jacques Brel sang about, reinvented at each stop through contact with local music. After Poland, Africa and Myanmar, where some ten songs were arranged with Burmese musicians in 2024, the project comes to Laos. A concert to (re)discover “Vesoul”, “Jojo” and other Brel songs, bringing the French language to life through music.
