Compagnie Entité

Biography

Simon Dimouro laid the foundations of Compagnie Entité in August 2015: a dance company working to develop choreographic creation in the Tours area and the Centre-Val de Loire region. The company has developed a hybrid language that thrives on cross-disciplinary work. It draws its creative essence from the instinct and brilliance of hip hop dance. Since 2016, Compagnie Entité has been supported by the Conservatoire Francis Poulenc, the regional conservatoire of Tours, the city of Tours and the Indre-et-Loire department. Its central aim is to promote choreographic art in all its forms. Amateur creation plays an important role in the company, which runs many diverse projects with nursery and primary schools, the conservatoire and prisons. Compagnie Entité was supported under agreement by the DRAC Centre-Val de Loire in 2022 and 2023.
